The Basic Questions

Who?

Are you frustrated, confused, or embarrassed about your credit score and want some help getting it all cleaned up? Well you can feel confident you've come to the right place. I am a firm believer in looking someone in the eye, giving a firm handshake, and letting my experience and integrity speak for itself. I'm going to guess that you've thought about repairing your credit yourself. You may have even tried, and after several months and much frustration, gotten a couple of things removed from your credit report. But you haven't had as much success as you'd hoped and your credit score is still suffering. Or you've become weary of marketing ploys that get you to sign up for a $39/month recurring fee just to have nothing happen. Then you might have asked yourself 'Why would they be in a hurry to help me if they would stop getting paid?' especially when their disclaimer says, 'As with any legal work, no outcome is promised. Your results will vary.' My company does not work that way. Thousands of people have had their credit cleared by us, and it's done as quickly possible.

Some things take a little longer than others but we always get it done. All of our customers who have completed the process have raised their credit to their peak potential. For 20 years we've earned all our business by word of mouth and referrals. That says something about how good we are. This is good for you and for us. We want to earn your trust and have you refer your friends and family as well.

You don't need expensive attorneys to get your credit cleared; you don't need someone who's only been around a few years; you need people who know the system and have proven themselves with thousands of satisfied customers. A law degree doesn't help with this type of work, but having inside information on how the credit bureaus respond to the millions of requests they get a year, does. You may not know anyone personally who we have helped, but then again, you might be surprised. I suggest you ask a couple of reputable mortgage brokers in your area if they have heard of National Credit Auditors; if not, who they send their clients to and how it has worked out for them.

Why?

We understand how sensitive and valuable your credit information is, and that in today's society it's the difference between getting a good job, a house, a car or not. Good credit saves you money on car insurance and gets you lower rates on a credit card. Your credit score is urgent, serious, and important. Send me an email or give me a call and let us get started helping you get your good credit back.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) gives you the right to dispute any and all items on your credit reports that you classify as inaccurate, unverifiable, or misleading. If the bureaus cannot verify the information on your reports is indeed correct, then those items must be deleted.

Disputing items on your credit report is easy. Getting results from the credit bureaus is amazingly difficult, complex, and infuriating. It's not a coincidence that the Federal Trade Commission receives more complaints against credit bureaus than any other type of business. Remember, the credit bureaus are primarily interested in protecting their profits. Investigating your challenge takes their time and consumes these profits. They seem to do everything in their power to discourage consumers from making progress in their restoration efforts.

The three main credit bureaus are: TransUnion, Experian and Equifax. Lenders judge your credit worthiness using the FICO scoring system. (More information on this available in the Information page.) Your FICO score is calculated by using the amount you owe on non-mortgage-related accounts such as credit cards, your payment history, and how much credit you've had. FICO scores range from 340 (VERY BAD) to 820 (Perfect). The higher your score, the lower your interest rates will be. A high FICO score can save you thousands of dollars on your home mortgage or car loans. If your score is below 680, it is very important that you repair your credit immediately.

Some of you might be asking yourselves, should I start getting my credit cleaned up now while I'm still in the middle of a financial crisis, in the beginning of declaring bankruptcy, a foreclosure, or a short sale, etc - or should I wait until it's all over and THEN clean up my credit? The answer is it's always best to start as soon as possible. Repair those damaging credit lines in your credit report BEFORE you go through that process.

When getting items removed from your credit report, you're claiming that there has been some kind of mistake, and thus it needs to be removed. If a bankruptcy court or home foreclosure agency etc. sends data to the credit bureaus to put a note on a credit item, "included in bankruptcy" or "foreclosure" it makes it that much harder to be removed. Credit bureaus use those added lines to fight back to try and avoid removing those from your report. Obviously, the credit bureaus would have much less of an issue removing an item from a mostly positive report on a $300,000 home, than a foreclosure on that home which has been verified by the United States courts. Is it still possible to get the items taken off after that note is put on there? Of course it is, it just adds a couple months to the process and makes it that much harder.

If you're in the middle of receiving late charges, and additional items are rolling in, we still advise you to get started right away. You will need good credit to buy a new home, get into a lease on an apartment or house, to refinance, or to purchase a car. Some banks even use your credit report to open a bank account. You need your good credit yesterday!
